Storyva Privacy Policy
Storyva is an animated story and reel maker. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. Storyva has no user accounts: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
1. Your photos and videos
Photos you add to a template are chosen through the Android photo picker and are processed only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers. Exported videos are saved to your device gallery in the Movies/Storyva folder. Deleting the app or the folder removes them.

All data is sent over encrypted connections (TLS). We do not collect precise location, contacts, messages, health data or financial details.
2a. Invites
When "Invite friends" is available, the app sends our server a one-way hashed device identifier and the invite code it uses, so we can give each phone one code, reward both people once and stop fraud. The hash cannot be turned back into your device's real identifier. It is not sold, not shared with anyone and not used for ads. While invites are switched off, the app does not send it. Invite records are kept while invites are offered and any Pro time they earned is running, plus 12 months. You can ask us to delete them at navadiyaha+storyva@gmail.com; include your invite code.
3. Ads and consent
Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows a consent form before any ad is loaded, and you can change your choice at any time from Profile → Privacy options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Pro subscribers see no ads and no ad data is collected for them.
4. Purchases
Pro plans are sold through Google Play. We receive only the purchase token and product ID needed to confirm the purchase. Payment details stay with Google. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions.
5. Data retention and deletion
Analytics and crash data are retained by Google for up to 14 months and then aggregated or deleted. Purchase verification records are kept for as long as the purchase is active plus 12 months for support and refund handling. Drafts, favourites and export history live only on your device and are removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. To request deletion of server-side purchase records, email us with your Google Play order number.
6. Children
Storyva is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Security
Data in transit is encrypted. Our servers run on Cloudflare and store only the minimal purchase, invite and catalogue data described above.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export data we hold, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will also be announced inside the app.
10. Storyva for iPhone
The iPhone app collects less than the Android app. It has no analytics, crash reporting, ads, advertising identifier or push notifications, and it sends no data about you to us or to anyone else. It only downloads the template catalogue and template files from our server. Photos are chosen through Apple's photo picker, so the app never sees the rest of your library, and they are processed only on your iPhone. Exports are saved to your Photos library only when you choose Save to Photos. Storyva Pro on iPhone is sold through Apple in-app purchase: payment and subscription records stay with Apple, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Drafts and exports live only on your iPhone and are removed when you delete the app.
